Lisa Thomas has twenty years’ experience of advisory work, specialising in corporate governance and board effectiveness reviews since 2011, when she joined Independent Board Evaluation, a sole focus board review practice founded in 2008. Her clients range from listed companies immediately post IPO, to mature companies in the FTSE 100 across all sectors. The bulk of her practice lies with listed unitary boards in the UK, but she has also worked with large private companies, subsidiary boards, national trade associations, charities, global professional services partnerships and government organisations. Lisa is a former solicitor and graduate of Oxford University where she studied modern languages. She is an enthusiastic violinist and enjoys supporting others who have greater talents.
