Champions for Children 2026

For the last 20 years, we’ve believed in potential. Creating the moment where a young person goes ‘maybe I could actually do this!’

For many families on low-income, tough choices have to be made. More often than not, dreams are put on pause. Something like music may seem like an unnecessary expense. Instruments, lessons, travel and time all come at a cost that is simply out of reach. But with 84% of young people saying music supports their mental health, and music boosting children’s cognitive ability by up to 19% (ABRSM), why should access be limited to a select few.

When a young person is supported to pursue their potential, the impact goes far beyond music. It builds confidence. It opens doors. It changes futures.

That’s why Future Talent’s match-funded campaign, Champions for Children, is about believing in potential, and turning belief into action! Because no young person should have to wonder if music is ‘for someone like them’.

Your support sends a different message: your talent matters, and your future is worth investing in, and they CAN do this.

From 2–16 June, we’re aiming to raise £10,000: £5,000 in donations, matched by £5,000 in funding.
